The sculptures are unique and made from used stainless steel cutlery, cut and polished. I weld the cut pieces together, and often you can no longer see that the sculpture was once cutlery. Sometimes I color the sculptures by heating them, and sometimes by coloring them with metal-colored wax. Run Horse Run! is gilded with 24-karat gold leaf as an experiment.

In addition to my composite bronze sculptures, I still regularly work with stainless steel cutlery. The candlesticks and the bird of prey are examples of this.
